Since its global debut in October 28, “Game of Thrones: The Touring Exhibition” has welcomed more than 85,000 people from all around the world.

Due to its enormous success, and in order to allow as many visitors as possible to have the opportunity to see it,  “Game of Thrones: The Touring Exhibition” has been extended for two months, through March 11, 2018 at the Museu Marítim de Barcelona.

Until today, one month and a half after its global premiere, more than 85,900 people have visited the exhibition, with fans pouring in from Europe (United KingdomGermanyFrance and Italy), the United StatesChina and Japan.

These spectacular figures signify that “Game of Thrones: The Touring Exhibition” is one of Spain’s most visited international exhibitions ever and one of the main cultural attractions in Barcelona this year. In collaboration with HBO Global Licensing, global events provider GES designed and built the interactive experience based on the hit HBO series.

With this extension, through March 11Barcelona remains 

the first city in the world to play host to this acclaimed touring exhibition. But fans should act fast if they want to visit – the exhibition will soon continue to future international destinations.

The exhibition beautifully showcases the sumptuous costumes, authentic props, and majestic settings from all seven previous seasons in an interactiveimmersive experience which lead visitors through several dynamically themed exhibition areas.

Fans of the series will recognize the breathtaking objects and enthralling artifacts from the screen, made real, and will experience first-hand the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into the one-of-a-kind pieces showcased in this new 10,000-square-foot interactive experience.

Each dynamically themed exhibition area will transport visitors to the world of Game of Thrones with a unique mix of immersive environments, interactives, and multimedia content set within a carefully curated collection of the most breathtaking items from the show.

Visitors will be able to experience the wintry landscapes of the North and the tree-lined pathway of the Kingsroad; view a garrison of Unsullied warriors and the iconic costumes of House Targaryen; step into the House of Black and White; explore Castle Black, the home of the Night’s Watch; and finally reach the Iron Throne, in the shadow of which nobles and common folk alike struggle for survival.

Through March 11, it is highly recommended to purchase the entry in advance, especially for the weekends and during the holiday season, when strong attendance is anticipated.

In addition, visitors can enjoy Fast Pass tickets that allow a single priority access to the exhibition, any day at any visiting time, without the need to queue, which makes this exclusive pass the perfect Christmas present this year. Fast Pass tickets are available in limited quantity per day.
